Land Details

Bill and I purchased Lot #15 in the Highlands of Rawley Springs, VA and have been enjoying our trips to our land. We immediately had our driveway cut in on the bottom part of our land. This clearing has allowed us to spend a lot of time "playing" at the land and enjoying time together. This past summer we had the top driveway that will be going to our "dream" log home cut in. It is such a totally different experience to drive onto our land after all of this time. It has made us that much more anxious to get on with the building.

Our Future Home

This is a photo of the model log home that we are looking to build. It will be a little higher in the air with the basement and will have more trees around the home. We are also going to have the two car garage attached to it. Currently we have "staked" out where the house will sit on our property and are counting down the years until our dream becomes a reality. The hardest part of anticipating the log home is the realization that Andrew will be leaving for college and we will not be able to see the kids (including grandson) on a regular basis.

Our History

Bill and Patti met in June 1997 at CFC during the Single's service (SAM's Club) in Ashburn, VA. In May 1998, we started seeing each other and spending time together. On September 2, 2000, we got married and become a blended family. Bill has two adult children, Mike and Michelle and Patti has one son, Andrew from previous marriages.
